WEEKEND WARRIOR. Joel has been watching races, planning races, announcing races, or driving in races nearly all of his life. His father had a love of for the sport and took Joel to the track for the first time when Joel just 9 months old. While he works a regular 9-5 job in healthcare during the week, on the weekends Joel focuses on his real love - racing stock cars.

On most Saturdays, he brings along his wife, children, mother, and other relatives to the Orange County Fair Speedway and they spend the day together as he prepares for his afternoon and evening practices & races. On Sunday mornings, he pulls his stock car into the driveway and the family washes all the muck off from the previous night's fun. For Joel, racing really is a family affair.
