ELECTION DAY 2018. Election day in Austin, Texas started out foggy as voters trickled into the polls. As the day came to a closer, lines grew long but people stayed. The evening was capped off by watch parties all over the city, including the Travis County Democratic party at the famous Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin. People waited, watched, cheered, and booed as election started to roll in.
